God’s love in Christ for us (2 Corinthians 5:14): We go announcing the love and forgiveness that we ourselves have received. Having freely received, we desire to freely give (Matthew 10:8).
Our love for our Lord (see John 14:21-23; 21:15-17; Hebrews 6:10)
Our love for the lost (see Paul’s example in Romans 9:1-3; 10:1)
Submission to Christ’s Command
While the command to permeate “the ends of the earth” can only be fulfilled by the Church collectively, it must be applied by every disciple individually. We believe that our part in fulfilling this commission would be to go to the unreached and Gospel-illiterate people of French-speaking Europe.
Faith
Faith in God’s Gospel: Regardless of the obstacles (cultural, philosophical, intellectual, moral, etc.) we are unashamed to take the Gospel to the people of France for we know that it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes (Romans 1:16).
Faith in God’s plan: We want to be a part of God’s unstoppable plan to bring Gentiles to glorify Him for His mercy (see Romans 15:9). We believe His purpose in redemption cannot fail (Romans 8:29-31), and that He has a people for Himself in France (Revelation 5:9).
