Some spring activity before we hopped into summer: May

19 July 2017 | by Bixby

The last six months have been a whirlwind in many ways, and we have had very little discretionary time to post anything about all that’s been going on here. So without further adieu, we’ll give you a few pictures to at least hit the highlights … May 19: We had the joy of hosting in our […]

20 August 2016 | by Bixby

CPBC Team, July 8-18: Deuteronomy 4:9 contains one of many admonitions in Scripture to look back and remember what God has done, being sure to recount His works to the generations to come: “Only take care, and keep your soul diligently, lest you forget the things that your eyes have seen, and lest they depart […]

Children Teachers’ Meeting

One blessing the Lord has given to our young church is qualified and committed children workers. This is one of the blessings we’ve received from our mother church. Our coworker Kristi is working with two other ladies from the church to help oversee and coordinate this important ministry. Last Saturday, 10 people gathered for a […]

1 July 2015 | by Bixby

Last Sunday we had the joy of seeing our coworkers, Michael and Liz Cole and family, be officially commissioned to the work in France by their (and our) sending church. We were able to watch the morning service (in our late afternoon) via Skype. We then ate our supper while they were eating their lunch. […]

Cole family visit

14 January 2011 | by Bixby

We have been fully enjoying the visit of the Cole family. Hard to believe it is more than half over already. Instead of updating you here, let me encourage you to visit the Coles’ blog. Michael has been doing a good job posting updates over there.

The Coles have arrived!

29 December 2010 | by Bixby

They are here! After a very long trip which included several delays, they have arrived, seemingly unscathed (though very tired).  We are very excited about these next few weeks together. As to other news, we have been planning for several days to sit down and give you some updates of all that has been going […]

Just saying hi

15 October 2010 | by Bixby

Zacharie Bixby and Adeline Cole were born on the same day shortly before Christmas 2009. However, they will have to wait until after Christmas this year to actually meet each other in person. Thanks to Skype technology, they have been able to get to know each other a little beforehand.
